We know going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Smoky Row a great one!
What happens at church?
Our Sundays are set aside as a time for all generations to come together to celebrate and grow as we glorify God. You play an important role as you share words of praise, gratitude, prayer concerns, and thoughtful reflection.
Our worship service starts at 10:30. It’s good to snag a cup of coffee and a bulletin before coming into the worship area.*
During the service there’s a reading or two, some songs or hymns are sung. Words for songs and readings are projected on the screen so you can join in. People might share things they’d like the group to pray for, or something they're praising God for this week.
About halfway through the service, we'll break for a brief time to greet folks around you (or grab another cup of coffee). Then someone, usually Pastor Cory, shares an encouraging and hope-filled message from scripture before we close with a song and a prayer.

*Note: We share our building with another congregation on Sunday mornings. You can find our worship space to the right side, just past the lobby and seating area. Or say hi to our friends at Westside Assembly if that’s more your speed!
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week.
At Smoky Row we make this a priority. Kids are welcome in our service, and we intentionally design our services to help kids participate and grow a love for church.
Most Sundays, we will have some sort of children's message incorporated into our time together. Littles can also grab a kids' bulletin designed just for them.
About halfway through our service, children up to grade 6 are invited to break off for Children's Church to enjoy an age-appropriate lesson, craft, and snack.
Our Nursery is open during the entire worship hour for children ages 0-4.
We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes early to get your kids checked-in so we can get any necessary contact information.
