Brookside Food Bridge – Great Groceries from June to August

Bags of food for children’s lunches will be provided for free to those living in the neighborhood off of Queensbridge Dr and Bride Water Blvd.
This food is provided to bridge the gap for Brookside students who normally receive free or reduced lunches at school, but may be missing a meal during the summer months.
The program is looking to feed 100 kids for 10 weeks this summer. From June 6th to August 8th bags will be delivered to the neighborhood on Monday mornings.
Items needed:
  • 5000 Oatmeal packets
  • 5000 Granola bars
  • 5000 100% Fruit juice (boxes)
  • 400 Jars of peanut butter
Bring 500 of allotted items to Worthington Resource Pantry on Saturdays by 12:30pm ~ Or ~ Bring all allotted items to Worthington Resource Pantry by June 4th at 12:30pm

Volunteer Information:

Volunteers are needed to distribute the bags to the families on Mondays from 8:00-9:00am. We ask that volunteers arrive at Worthington Resource Pantry by 8am to load the truck and leave by 8:15am to pass out the bags in the designated neighborhood.
